What is a morning routine? A morning routine, a morning routine, is a set of activities that a person routinely performs every morning, typically before the main tasks of the day. It consists of little habits, such as making your bed upon waking up or taking a cold shower. It could include physical activities like morning exercise for a rush of adrenaline, a meditation routine or a journaling habit. To call any of these or other actions a morning routine, you have to perform these tasks regularly and consistently so that they ultimately become a habit. These little habits deliver results on their own, which helps a person run their day smoothly and more successfully. Those people who engage in a morning routine acclaim the benefits.

Behnaz:

Let's talk about morning routines of successful people. Everybody wants to be successful, even if what defines success may vary, wants to be successful, even if what defines success may vary, even though success ultimately looks different for everyone. Achieving fulfillment in life is one of our purposes for living. Successful people have gotten to where they are in life most often because they've worked hard for what they have achieved. They also grew as individuals in achieving and because of this, they are very much aware of the steps they took to get from point A to point B.

Behnaz:

Most of the time we look at successful people and sigh and wish we had the same luck, the same work ethics, the same discipline, the same everything. However, to be successful like them, we need to develop the same success habits. We need to do the things they consistently do every day. Most of the people we look up to do very similar things. One similarity among successful people is that they swear by their daily morning routine habits. Certain actions get people results and the wise ones know what to do about them. They just do them again and again and again. Ultimately, success is built upon these little things that work. If a person sticks at it, it will simply keep getting much better If the ultimate secret of success is found in their daily routine, then it's time to learn the morning routines that most successful employ.

Behnaz:

They wake up at the same time every day. Most successful people go to bed at the same time every night and wake up in the morning at the same time as well. Many of them do wake up very early, from as early as 4 am or 5 am. It's a routine because they do it consistently. The reason behind this is they get things done and out of the way first, before interruptions start. That way, they are more prepared for the long day ahead.

Behnaz:

They eat a healthy breakfast. Successful people know that a healthy power breakfast is vital to a good start. After all, food is fuel, and if a person runs on bad fuel, it's really easy to crash when they need to do focused tasks early in the day. To get things done, especially in the morning, after our bodies have fasted throughout the night, we all need nutritious food to get us through the day. This doesn't mean you have to eat first thing, but when you do eat, don't eat sugary foods that will have your mind fogged in a couple of hours Get some good protein into you to power your mind and body. They eat the first frog, this isn't breakfast. It means to do the hardest or least enjoyable task first thing in the morning, when your willpower is at its peak. Successful people also understand the nature of their willpower that it can be a limited resource, so they prioritize the most important tasks of the day first, while their minds are clear and agile, they have a plan for the day.

Behnaz:

Truly successful people do not become successful after one day or one week of hard work and then stop. They are successful because they have painstakingly gone through the process for many months or years. Enduring success takes time to build. Although it may mean boring repetition and routines day after day, most successful people have a plan they stick to, even as simple as a plan for the day, even as simple as a plan for the day. They do this because it gives them direction, clarity and helps them manage their time and resources. They connect with their loved ones. Connecting with the people we love at the start of the day is a great motivation for success, they say. Motivation needs daily reinforcement and sometimes simply seeing and talking to the people we deeply care for reminds us why we're doing what we do, our purpose or why Whether it is your spouse, your children, your parents or siblings. Most people do things in great part for others, so this is a great way to kickstart a promising day.

Behnaz:

They meditate and or journal. Successful people put more intention into their day by nourishing their inner selves. Starting the day either through meditation or writing a journal is powerful as it sets the tone for a more controlled and positive day ahead. The power that lies within us can keep us burning all day if we tap into it. These spiritual activities benefit us in many ways, from clearing the mind to fortifying our strength and inspiring us to live more intentionally.

Behnaz:

Now let's talk about tips for creating the best morning routine. Routines are fundamental to our success in life and our health. It is said that if you value life, then you value your time as well. Our time is significantly made up of, and greatly influenced by, our daily routines. You may already be aware of the morning routines of some of your favorite personalities. Maybe they wake up at 5 am each day, have a cold shower first thing in the morning and meditate daily. If just thinking of how they do it makes you feel discouraged because it sounds too impossible for you to do, stop right there. There is a right morning routine for everyone. You don't have to exactly follow a celebrity's morning routine if you are essentially a very different person. The beauty of morning routines is that it's something you can design for yourself and something that should seamlessly blend into your own unique life.

Behnaz:

Just because you don't wake up at 5 am every day like Oprah doesn't mean you're doomed to a life of failure or you are incapable of stellar accomplishments. If you function at your best when you jump out of bed at 7 am after getting eight hours of sleep, then you should stick with that. We're just wired very differently from others. Some are early birds, while others are night owls. Getting to know yourself well is part of the process of crafting the morning routine. That's right for you. Here are some tips to help you design the best daily morning routine for yourself.

Behnaz:

Choose routines that fit your life and your schedule appropriately. Listen to what your body says and needs. Are you a night owl who functions best in the evening? Stop forcing yourself to wake up at 5 am if that's the case. It won't serve you well if you go to sleep very late at night and wake up very early in the morning every day, unless you're used to that. If you desire to become a morning person because either you've had a change of heart or your work now demands it. You have to start sleeping earlier as well. It's about trade-offs.

Behnaz:

Create a routine that you can commit to long term. A routine sounds boring because essentially it is an activity that you do and then repeat again and again in your life. But if your morning routine is based on activities that resonate with you, then committing to doing them every day won't be a chore, especially once you start seeing the benefits. It doesn't mean that your routines should be designed for pleasure. You know that it is a productivity tool, but it should be doable and leave you feeling accomplished, which will put you in a great mood at the start of the day. Implement the 5-second rule at the beginning. Author and speaker Mel Robbins is well known for her five-second rule, which is a technique for getting things done At the start.

Behnaz:

While you're trying to build a good routine of your own choice, old habits might make it very difficult to take action. The five-second rule states that if you have an item on your agenda, you must do it right away and physically move yourself to action before your brain hijacks the idea and causes procrastination. It's a great technique for making a new change. Read positive affirmations or codes. Weren't you just so inspired last night when you planned to wake up at a particular time and do all of the tasks you listed down? So why are you up this morning hating your alarm clock's annoying sound? Your natural urge is to forget everything and leave inspiration in dreamland. So if you're struggling to motivate yourself today, a simple technique is to read positive quotes or affirmations to renew your motivation all over again. Hey, it's a new day. Make it holistic.

Behnaz:

There are many morning routines out there to choose from. A good way to decide is to segment them according to their benefits Physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and other specific niches, such as home or work. List down subroutines that you think will benefit a certain aspect of your life. Choose activities that will benefit your growth and progress in the aspects that are important for you right now. Start with that and you will be on your way to designing a morning routine that benefits you in the most effective way.

Behnaz:

Too often, our lives seem chaotic and unorganized. We feel as though we are at the mercy of external events and people. Having a morning routine that guides you through the start of the day helps you block out distractions and remain focused on what is important. When you do what it needs to be done when it should be done, you create time. It creates a feeling of having control of yourself and your environment.

Behnaz:

Taking the time and making the effort to create a morning routine that provides a structure to your day will provide both guidance and momentum to your whole life. Once the seed is sown, water it by following your routine every day without fail, soon your plan will become a habit. You will feel more in control and less dependent on the actions and inputs of others. Do it, do it now. So leave a comment and share them with me.
